Sinful Delights

I wrote Sinful Delights to communicate my passion for cooking. This book is addressed to the “foodies”—to those of you who love real food, who love to spend time in the farmers markets with a copy of a recipe that you are going to make to impress your family or your friends. To those of you who hunt for the best fruits and vegetables, and scan the meat and seafood displays, searching for the best cuts. To those of you who make your children sniff sweet herbs and tomatoes, teaching them their names, and letting them discover their scents.

Today, vegetables and fruits look the right way and have the right color but don’t smell or taste the same way they did when we were kids. The recipe ingredients in this book are organic, free-range, and grass-fed, because they have more flavor. Some farmers still care about what they are producing, and I encourage you to buy such food because you care about what you are eating.

Cooking is one thing, but putting food together to create an attractive dish is another. This book features a picture for every recipe, because this photography will speak to you, helping you to decide which recipe to make. These photos will awaken the cook within your soul. We've taken particular care about the presentation and photography of these dishes. There are no tricks or artifices; it is nothing but real food, because I want you to take the same approach and be confident in your results.

After all, what is better than spending time with your loved ones around a quality meal and a good bottle of wine?
